Creating Softaculous Backups

To create a backup of one of your applications, just follow these 5 easy steps:

1. First, log in to your cPanel control panel and locate and click on the Softaculous icon listed under Software/Services.
2. Within Softaculous, click the button labelled All Installations at the top of the page.
3. This will show you a list of all your installed applications. Locate and select the application you intend to backup.
4. Hit the Backup button next to your selected application.
5. Select your desired Backup Location from the dropdown menu, and when you’ve finished making your selection, click the blue Backup Installation button.

Restoring Softaculous Backups

To restore a backup of one of your applications, just follow these 4 easy steps.

1. First, log in to your cPanel control panel and locate the Softaculous icon listed under Software/Services.
2. Click the option labelled Backups and Restore.
3. You’ll be presented with a list of available backups. Choose the specific application you intend to Restore.
4. After making your selection, hit the Restore button to restore your backup.

And there you have it! You now know how to both create and restore application backups using Softaculous.

2) Search for “Softaculous” icon and click on it. It will launch, and the following screen will appear. Click on the “phpBB” listed under the Forums section.

3) Once you click on “phpBB” it will show you the Overview page of phpBB Version 3.0.8

4) Now, click on the “Install” tab, it will take you to the installation steps. Fill the required information shown in the image below:

5) Click on the “Install “button at the bottom of the form to finish the installation. Once the installation is successful, the following message will appear on your screen, “Congratulations, the software was installed successfully.”
