• CATALINA_HOME/conf/tomcat-users.xml or
• /usr/local/jakarta/jakarta-tomcat-4.1.31/cinf/tomcat-users.xml

Append the following line at second last line:

• <user name=”Username” password=”secret” roles=”admin,manager”>

Restart tomcat. You should be able to login to tomcat with:

• https://IP:8080/manager/html

1. To access the Account Functions Menu, click on Account Functions, on the main screen of your WebHost Manager interface.
2. Click on Install Servlets.
3. Select the user name or domain name you wish to install servlets for from the scrolling list that appears.
4. Click on Install to install Tomcat servlets for that domain.
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 as necessary.
